Questions Customers Frequently Ask.
Always have plenty of information.
DIY? I want to save money and install the fence myself.
Yes of course! You can purchase just the materials.
Is it difficult to install the fence myself?
If you've installed a wooden fence before, it's very similar. First you'll need to call Alberta One Call. Don't dig until all lines are marked. You'll need some math skills and some tools like a table saw, level and measuring tape. It is best to have at least two people doing the job. The posts are cemented into the ground just the same as a wooden fence. The part that requires the most preparation is the posts. They need to be spaced apart just right so your rails fit. Measure twice, dig once. If you have questions during your install process just give us a call and we'll be happy to answer them.
I have my property measurements already. Can you send me a quote?
If you text or email us the picture of your sketch/drawing we will send you a quote from this no problem.
I have a new property. Should I landscape first or start the fence first?
We believe it's best to install your fence first before starting any landscaping. If you have fresh sod for example, bringing in our mini-bobcat can ruin the grass. We would need to wait several weeks before being able to come in and dig holes if the sod is fresh.
I have an old fence that needs to come down before a new one can go up. Can you take care of this?
Yes, we can take care of the removal and disposal of your old fence.
Care & Maintenance Tips
If you have a tip. We'd love to hear about it.
Scuff Marks on Vinyl
A little Cream Vim on a rag and some scrubbing will remove tire marks from your lawnmower. Be careful not to scrub too hard as it will remove the finish on the vinyl. You can purchase at most grocery stores.
Cleaning
You only need to pressure wash your fence on occassion to remove dirt build up. A hose with a pressure attachment can also do the job well.
